Big things are happening at The Toy Foundation (TTF)—and the future looks even brighter for children worldwide. On February 28, the organization proudly announced Kathleen Campisano as the new Chair of its Board of Trustees, setting the stage for a bold new chapter in its mission to bring the joy of play to kids in need.
Backed by Vice Chair Michael Keaton and Executive Director Pam Mastrota, Campisano brings deep industry knowledge and a passionate commitment to philanthropy, which promises to increase the Foundation’s impact.
A Leader with a Heart for Play
With over 35 years in the toy and entertainment space, Campisano knows how to turn creative ideas into lasting impact. She currently serves as the Global Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager at Beacon Media Group, where she’s helped companies grow by tapping into what truly moves consumers.
But beyond strategy and growth, it’s Campisano’s dedication to purpose that makes her such a powerful fit for TTF. Since joining the Foundation’s Board in 2019, she’s been an active force in projects like playroom initiatives in children’s hospitals—bringing comfort and imagination to spaces that need it most.
“Our industry works every day to create wonderful play opportunities that shape children’s lives,” said Campisano. “As Chair of The Toy Foundation, I look forward to partnering with companies of all sizes to get more toys into the hands of children, and to support even more hospitals. Together, our impact is greater.”
A New Era of Philanthropy
Campisano’s two-year term comes as The Toy Foundation gears up to bring The Toy Association’s new three-year action plan to life—a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen the global toy industry through advocacy, service, education, and greater community engagement.
Pam Mastrota, TTF’s Executive Director, expressed confidence in the Foundation’s future under Campisano’s leadership. “Kathleen’s energy and deep industry insight will help us build meaningful partnerships across the toy world. We’re excited for the path ahead.”
Michael Keaton Takes on Vice Chair Role
Michael Keaton, who is stepping in as vice chair, will join Campisano in this mission. Keaton has been instrumental in guiding the Foundation’s evolution into a full-fledged fundraising engine for good. As a former President of Schleich and CEO of Toysmith, his experience in branding and leadership will help further expand TTF’s reach.
Together, Campisano and Keaton form a dynamic leadership duo focused on uniting the industry and amplifying the power of play.

The Foundation is also welcoming five newly elected Board members from across the toy world:
